John, what do these states have in common?

All four currently have GOP Senators who are running scared from the Trump takeover of the Republican Party, retiring at the end of their term rather than face voters and the wrath of the disgraced former president.

But these retirements are great news for Democrats. When a Senate seat opens up, it gives us an even better chance to win and expand our Senate majority — and this cycle, we’ll have at least five chances to do just that.

With a Senate majority this slim (it’s 50-50!), we need to pull out all the stops to make certain that Mitch McConnell and his right-wing cronies aren’t able to steal back the majority right from under us.

I remember how it felt in 2010 to lose the House and watch all our hard work go down the drain — it felt even worse when we lost the Senate in 2014!

We can’t allow that to happen again. We need to keep fighting back.
