Maverick Spotlight

Greg Hart
Meet Greg
Greg Hart serves as a County Board Member in DuPage County, Illinois – the second largest county in the state with nearly one million residents. He represents District 3, which includes 160,000 constituents living in 11 different municipalities. Greg was appointed to the County Board in 2017 and was subsequently elected to a full, four-year term in 2018. Greg serves in various leadership roles on the County Board, including Chairman of the Heroin-Opioid Prevention & Education (HOPE) Taskforce, Vice Chairman of the Technology and Public Works Committees, and a founding member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Greg helped lead the effort to create the Reinvest DuPage loan program, which issued more than $20 million to struggling small businesses.

Outside of public service, Greg works full-time as a management consultant at Point B, Inc. where he advises executives on organizational effectiveness and workforce transformation issues. Greg graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He lives in Hinsdale, Illinois with his wife Alexandra and three-year-old daughter Madeleine.

What is your favorite MavPAC memory?

My favorite MavPAC memory is attending the 2015 National Conference in Las Vegas. I met a number of Chapter Leaders who have since become good friends. Additionally, Gov. Jeb Bush had just announced his candidacy for President and spoke to our packed conference crowd. I saw first hand at that conference that MavPAC is a unique, one-of-a-kind organization.
What makes MavPAC special?

MavPAC is truly more than just a political organization. It is an exceptional professional network with a diverse membership. All MavPAC members I have met are successful in their fields, social and like to have fun, and share the same commitment to keeping this country exceptional. The organization really is special because of its members.

Favorite rising GOP star?

Senator Tim Scott and Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar.
