Goose Fair 2021 cancelled due to Covid concerns
A decision has been taken to cancel this year’s Goose Fair due to ongoing concerns and uncertainty around Covid.
Nottingham City Council, which owns the Forest Recreation Ground where the fair takes place every October, has reluctantly come to its decision based on a range of issues including Covid infection rates remaining high, national guidance and advice from experts in public health, and the fact that up to 500,000 people normally attend the event.
A range of smaller events as highlighted below can continue to be staged but all include a range of Covid-safe measures.
