I apologize for the late email on a weeknight, but, frankly, this cannot wait: Republican Adam Laxalt just announced he’s challenging my friend, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, for her Senate seat in Nevada.

Laxalt is Mitch McConnell’s hand-picked recruit for the seat, and is just about as Trumpian as they come. In fact, he spearheaded the Trump campaign’s efforts to overturn President Biden’s victory in Nevada through failed legal efforts and attempts to stop vote-counting in the state’s largest county.

I can’t overstate how high the stakes are here.

Now that Laxalt is in the race, we need to step up and make sure Catherine’s team has the resources to respond to the attacks that are coming. I promised Catherine our team could raise another $10,000 TONIGHT.
