We are excited to share a great opportunity for Animation writers. The Recruiting team at Netflix Animation reached out with a call for writers to join an upcoming preschool series!

In this series, nine-year old “Codekeeper” Ava - curious, abrupt, “best-dancer-ever-am-i-rite”? - protects the video game world she lives in from bugs, hackers and all glitches in between. This big-hearted, animated action-comedy seeks to tell great stories that inspire girls and other underrepresented groups to explore coding.


Netflix is looking for writers to help further develop the world and series arcs, as well as break stories and write scripts for the series. Both staff and freelance positions may be available.


This position requires three or more previous freelance or staff writer roles in order to be eligible, but if writers have less than three, Netflix will be tracking them for upcoming freelance or writing trainee positions.
