The answer to all this is not for Democrats to become more like Republicans!
The answer is for us to embrace voting reform, women’s rights, and workers’ rights. It’s to fight for policies like Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and housing for all. In the richest country on Earth, no one should be homeless, hungry, in poverty, or without healthcare.
Over 1,000 people shouldn’t have died because of the climate-change heat wave in the Pacific Northwest.
That’s why it’s so frustrating that even though my district has been blue for 56 years, our representative Derek Kilmer is ranked by GovTrack as the 13th most conservative Democrat in the House.
I am proud to OPPOSE the GOP’s conservative policies, not to enable them. Can you donate now to help me win?
Kilmer takes money from Chevron and Marathon Petroleum, rejects the Green New Deal and Medicare for All, joined with Republicans to sign a letter supporting Social Security cuts, and claims to want to end Citizens United while taking $3.8 million in corporate PAC money.
