Appeals Court Rejects Arizona Senate's Attempts to Conceal Sham 'Audit' Records

Breaking news out of Arizona: The Arizona Court of Appeals just confirmed that the Arizona Senate must release records related to its partisan election “audit” — including documents that are in the physical possession of contractor Cyber Ninjas. This is a huge win — the Arizona Senate had filed an emergency appeal trying to block the public’s access to the records, even arguing that no one can sue them at all. We beat them on all fronts.

Here’s what the ruling means: Transparency is coming for this so-called audit, which is bad news for the Big Lie. They want to release an audit report using selective facts and data; we’re making that impossible. We expect the Arizona Senate to keep fighting, but this is the third time we’ve beaten them in two months. Momentum and the law are on our side.
