According to the recently released U.S. Census data, the population of Texas is 29,145,505. A 16 percent increase from the number reported in the 2010 census, legislators now have the information needed to begin the much-delayed task of redrawing district boundaries in Texas. Contentious even under more normal circumstances, the redistricting process faces the additional challenge of the Texas legislature’s ongoing failure to meet quorum.

All Texas campaign finance data on Transparency USA is current through June 30, 2021, the end date of the most recent reporting period. Explore the latest donations, expenditures, and cash-on-hand here.
