It was reported yesterday that former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo prioritized profit over people after the 2018 execution of Saudi-American journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

On his choice to prioritize the relationship with the world's top oil exporter, Pompeo said:

"While we thought this death was horrific, we knew that relationship was going to matter."

 

 

Kansas deserves better than disloyal, self-serving Republicans who disregard basic human rights. It is time for Democrats across the state to band together and mobilize early to elect leadership that better reflects Kansan values.
