Hi John, I wrote to you last month about tax cut payments for families and wanted to give an update.

August payments are out the door, and many are already in bank accounts by now. Up to $300 per child per month is a transformational change, and something we only enjoy because Democrats in control of government fought for it.

This is the kind of positive change that can be made when Democrats are in charge. Will you contribute so we can continue passing crucial measures to put money back in your pocket?

These crucial tax cuts are already having a substantial impact. Food insecurity for children has dropped to the lowest levels since the pandemic began, and difficulty paying for household expenses has lowered as well.

The tax cut payments are expected to cut child poverty almost in half this year.

These monthly payments are set to end in December, but they don’t have to. President Biden has already indicated he supports making these payments permanent, and we can do it if Democrats keep control.

Will you pitch in today so we can build support for making these monthly payments permanent? If Republicans win, we can kiss them goodbye.
