Senator Raphael Warnock is about to be pummeled with attack ads from Republican super PACs. So I’m asking you to split a donation between our campaigns today to make sure he can fight back.

Senate Democrats delivered a major win last week by passing the bipartisan infrastructure bill.

It’s a $1 trillion down payment on a stronger nation and brighter future. It was a smart, common-sense investment in working people that is popular with the American people, and 19 of our Republican colleagues agreed by voting in favor of this legislation — including Mitch McConnell.

Now you might think this would mean that Republicans wouldn’t see this as an effective angle to attack.

But the truth is, the far-right super PACs and dark money groups are going to bend the truth entirely. There will be ads that try to call Warnock a radical or a socialist and pretend this investment in our future was wasteful or about some culture war nonsense.

Tens of millions are headed his way in the form of fearmongering ads. He’s going to be pummeled by these false attacks because he voted for something that benefits real people — and the outside groups are just going to pretend it wasn’t also supported by 19 Republicans.

It’s up to us to help him respond and set the record straight. We know that to win in Georgia, we have to lay the groundwork early. So I need to ask:

Will you please split a $3 donation between Senator Warnock’s re-election and my campaign today to help us win Georgia and hold the majority? Grassroots support is our best chance to compete with Republicans’ limitless sums of dark money.

Control of the Senate could very easily come down to this race. Warnock winning might be the only thing that keeps Mitch McConnell from becoming majority leader again.
