California and the western United States have been on fire for the better
part of this summer.

The rest of the world is experiencing deadly floods, storms, and heat
waves.

Despite the clear evidence of our current climate disaster, a breaking
news report just came out showing that Big Oil got billions in
taxpayer-funded COVID relief to keep workers on payroll—but instead laid
off thousands of workers, gave their CEOs lofty bonuses, and ravaged our
environment.

We must start seriously holding Big Oil, powerful corporate interests, and
other polluters accountable for the damages they’ve caused, and keep them
from doing more harm. That’s why Katie joined the House Natural Resources
Committee this year: to do just that.

Katie is bringing her tough questioning and “white board energy” to fight
those responsible for the climate crisis—but we expect them to fight back.
