[1]Bowman for Congress

John,

The myth of "bipartisanship" has gripped our government systems and
legislative decisions for far too long.

While the political establishment and the GOP promote bipartisanship as a
beneficial tool for both sides of the aisle, we've seen who truly benefits
from our current model of bipartisanship and legislative compromise:
predatory corporate donors and special interest groups.

Jamaal knows that his duty in Congress is to meet the needs of his
constituents directly, explicitly, and without compromise — and to provide
solutions that meet the scale and scope of the issues we face. [ [link removed] ]Please
chip in today to help support his leadership in Congress and continue
fueling our movement's momentum for progressive change.

We can't afford to compromise on life-changing and life-saving
infrastructure for our communities,
John. Processes like the
filibuster, bipartisanship, and any other myth perpetuated by the
politically entrenched and moderate continue to preserve a system that is
solely built for, and by, the wealthy elites.

Because the truth is this: bipartisanship allows our elected officials to
completely overlook the key areas of our communities who need federal
support the most.

From housing, schools, and buildings to home and community based care,
intensive immediate climate action, and so much more, our progressive
movement often loses valuable space and funding to create transformative
change for our communities due to compromise.

In Congress, Jamaal is dedicated to shaking the status quo to fully
reimagine public safety and public health. He knows that a holistic
approach to legislating is the key to finally answering the call of the
people and bring NY-16 the representation we deserve.

[ [link removed] ]Let's work together to build up our progressive momentum so that
Jamaal can continue spearheading our movement for change — without
compromise. Please chip in today to help strengthen our collective voice
and bring true representation to our communities both in NY-16 and beyond.

Thank you for your support,

Team Bowman
