A disturbing ideology known as “Critical Race Theory,” leftist propaganda rooted in the notion that our country was founded on racist ideals, has been cropping up in classrooms across the country. Making matters worse, this ideology is thriving in some Texas public schools as a ‘woke’ response to the factually accurate history lessons in our curriculum. The trend is very disturbing, trying to divide our country and reinvent history.




Imagine a teacher telling your son or daughter that they should be ashamed or feel victimized because of the color of their skin. What an awful thing to teach a child!




The Banning Critical Race Theory in our Schools Bill will ensure that we protect our students and stop racist ideologies from making their way into our classrooms.

Parents want their students to learn how to think critically, not be brainwashed by the ridiculous leftist lie that America and our Constitution are inherently racist.




Our bill encourages educating students to actively engage in civil discourse and the truthful history of our nation. We have already passed this bill several times in the Texas Senate!




The final passage of this bill into law will require the House Democrats, who have fled the state, to return for a quorum. Make no mistake, the Texas Senate will continue to pass a Critical Race Theory ban over and over again until the House reaches a quorum.




By refusing to show up for work, Texas House Democrats are holding our democracy hostage. The liberals funding their AWOL sideshow in D.C. are the same donors targeting Texas Republicans like me. I am committed to passing these necessary bills to help the people of Texas.
