Because while Democrats spend their time trying to strip funding from the men and women who keep us safe every single day, I know the sacrifices they make and the importance of standing by their side.
Florida is showing our appreciation to these men and women by giving a $1,000 bonus to 174,000 Florida first responders.
Police are regularly demonized by the media, but in Florida we RESPECT and appreciate our law enforcement officers. Our officers serve and protect our communities selflessly daily. That’s why the state of Florida is now offering a $5,000 sign-up bonus for new, high-quality officers coming to our state to serve and defend our people.

We must continue to show the brave men and women in blue our appreciation for their work in neighborhoods across the state. As a husband and father of 3, I know that the safety and security of our families and our children is the number one priority of any parent. Every time Democrats say they want to defund the police, they are directly advocating making your neighborhood less safe. I’m here to make sure that never happens.
I won’t allow our law enforcement to be treated like the second-class citizens Democrats and the media hope to make them. We will ALWAYS support our first responders in Florida and ALWAYS back the men and women who hold that thin blue line to keep us safe.
