Alzheimer's Association DONATE NOW
$50,000 Match Challenge
Dear John,
Alzheimer's disease has been called the ultimate thief.

It's a name that fits all too well. Because Alzheimer's steals memories, independence, control, time — and, ultimately, life.

Millions of Americans have now lost loved ones to Alzheimer's. One of them is Carolyn Staley, whose mother, Betty Ann, passed away from the disease after a brave eight-year battle in which Carolyn was her caregiver.

Now, Carolyn and her husband, David, have generously offered to match every gift, up to a total of $50,000, in our $50,000 2X Match Challenge — but only if we can raise that same amount by September 30.

John, you demonstrated that the fight against Alzheimer's disease is important to you when you joined our community. You understand how urgent our work is. Please make a gift now while your support can be matched 2X.

Until there is a cure, we cannot pause, slow down or let up in our fight to make progress every day.

Facing Alzheimer's is a challenge, which is why we are accelerating research and providing constant support through our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) and online resources at alz.org. Wherever a member of our community lives and whenever they need answers or resources, the Alzheimer's Association is there to help.

But we need your help to continue making progress — especially now, while your impact can be doubled.

Join us today while your gift, up to $50,000, can double in impact:
$16 can become $32.
$30 can become $60.
$50 can become $100.
Double my gift now.

Your gift will help advance our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

When we lose someone to Alzheimer's, they live in our hearts forever. Carolyn's mother, Betty Ann, was a great Southern cook. She made delicious cakes and biscuits from scratch. And she was loved by so many people. Carolyn says, "She was a great wife and mother and homemaker."

John, I want you to know how much I appreciate your interest and involvement in our community. Please make your first gift now while it can be doubled in impact. Thank you again.

Sincerely,

Donna McCullough

P.S. It isn't only researchers who help advance the fight against Alzheimer's. We all have an important role to play. We're grateful to all the family members, caregivers and advocates in the fight to end Alzheimer's. And we're grateful to you, because we know that without support from kind people like you, no progress can be achieved. Make your very best gift now.
