Twin Ports DSA Members and Associates:

The major new UN IPPC climate report has been in the news, although judging by the seriousness of the report, it hasn't been in the news enough. In short, we are running out of time. As our State Senator Jen McEwen said in a press conference on Monday (paraphrasing), we have to end the fossil fuel age now. But it feels overwhelming.

One thing we can do is hit the streets. It can feel useless at first, with small groups on sidewalks, but these are unusual times, and I expect climate protest to grow to massive levels in a few years. They will have to.

If you have the time tomorrow, consider heading over to the St. Louis County Courthouse near City Hall at 10 AM.  Expect some speeches and a march. If you see me, I have a few No Line 3 buttons to share. See you there.

In Solidarity,
John Krumm
TPDSA Secretary
