URGENT: Ghost guns are the easiest way for criminals to bypass gun laws – but the NRA is fighting to protect them.
A new rule was just proposed to end the sale of dangerous, untraceable "ghost guns" – but we still need 551 more people to sign on in support of this lifesaving regulation before 11:59 p.m. tonight!

Did you see our last message, Friend? Right now, anyone – including violent criminals and children – can buy the parts for a gun online and assemble them at home. These "ghost guns" don't have a serial number, so they're totally untraceable, and the consequences are deadly.
The ATF just proposed a rule to end the sale of ghost guns, but the NRA is doing everything it can to keep ghost guns widely available. I just looked at the petition we sent you, and I'm getting worried that we don't have enough signatures to overcome the NRA's opposition.
We need 551 more people to sign our petition to finally stop the sale of these untraceable weapons – and we're still missing your name. Please, help us save lives by signing on before we deliver our petition tomorrow morning.

URGENT: SALE OF UNTRACEABLE "GHOST GUNS" IS ON THE RISE
The ATF just proposed a new rule to end the sale of untraceable "ghost guns" – and we need grassroots advocates like you to add your name in support of the regulation.
Friend, will you call on the ATF to ban untraceable, dangerous "ghost guns"?

This is scary, friend.
People who are legally barred from buying a firearm, like violent criminals or children, are increasingly turning to the internet – where they can purchase all the parts to assemble guns that evade all gun laws. These "ghost guns" don't have a serial number, so they're totally untraceable.
Ghost guns have already been used in several devastating, preventable shootings. In 2019, a 16-year-old who was too young to buy a gun in his state of California assembled a ghost gun at home – using it to kill two other students and himself.
Even worse, sales of these ghost guns have been on the rise during the pandemic, which means untraceable weapons could be in the hands of violent criminals right now.
But there's hope: The ATF just proposed a rule that would help end the sale of ghost guns. But gun lobbyists are pooling their resources to block any regulation of these dangerous weapons – so we need your help to call on the ATF to enact their rule against ghost guns and prevent the next tragedy.
Our team needs 5,000 of our top supporters to add their name to our petition to stop the sale of ghost guns – and we're counting on you to sign on tonight. Please, add your name to our public petition before it's too late:
Friend, will you call on the ATF to ban untraceable, dangerous "ghost guns"?
