We need to continue to fight the climate crisis and prepare for future extreme weather events to keep Canadians safe and healthy.
That’s why, today, Justin Trudeau announced that a re-elected Liberal government will support the training of 1,000 new firefighters to help monitor and contain wildfires across the country and invest in the resources and equipment they need to fight fires and stay safe.
