The Hill:
"California voters split on recall election"

BAD NEWS, Folks -- The California governor recall election is within the margin of error. There’s a very real chance Democratic Governor Newsom could be ousted unless we take action now.

But here's even worse news:

72% of Republicans are "very motivated to vote"
Only 61% of Democrats are "very motivated to vote"

We’ve identified 1.8 million Latinx voters that are at risk of not returning their ballot. Millions more are eligible but unregistered to vote. The election is less than a month away (on September 14), so we need you to act right now to shore up support for Gov. Newsom! Will you rush a donation to help us register and mobilize Latinos to vote in this critical election?

We don't have to tell you what a disaster it would be if Republicans take the California governor's office, especially for the Latinx community. We’re talking rampant mistreatment of immigrants, slashed services, and the removal of life-saving COVID protections!

Latinos also have the numbers to win this election! We make up nearly 40% of Californians. But Voto Latino needs your help to register and mobilize those voters to keep California in Democratic hands!

Remember: Less than a year ago, Voto Latino was able to mobilize historic Latinx turnout in Arizona and across the country. We’ve done this before. We can do it again.

Will you rush a donation immediately?
