Still time left to conduct drives, VCC resource provides key guidelines and tips

We are so grateful for all the interest we are seeing in voter registration drives. As our prior alerts last month noted, the Virginia Catholic Conference’s voter registration resource provides 10 easy steps for conducting a drive. By using this resource to organize nonpartisan voter registration drives, parishes can help voting-age members participate in the political process.

Please contact us at 804.225.8565 or at [email protected] if your parish is conducting a drive. We’d love to hear about your efforts and share ways we’ll be continuing to promote voter registration on our social media platforms.

This year in Virginia, Election Day is Tuesday, November 2. Voters will elect a Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General, and will determine all 100 state House of Delegates seats. The registration deadline for the general election is Tuesday, October 12.

If you are not a member of the Conference's advocacy network, click here to receive regular Conference email alerts and updates. Please like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and sign up for our blog.

In prayer and in public, your voices are urgently needed to bring Gospel values to bear on vital decisions being made by those who represent you.
