Dear John, PFLAG National is proud to launch PFLAG Connects: Communities! These virtual support meetings--part of our successful PFLAG Connects program--are for all parents and family members of LGBTQ+ people who are part of the Latino, Black/African-American, and AAPI communities. Through our PFLAG Connects program, we’ve learned that there is a lot of value to the work we can do to reach people online. That’s why we’re launching these brand-new meetings, to reach communities of color wherever they are, as they are, and to continue ensuring that PFLAG is a place where all families belong. PFLAG Connects: Communities meetings are completely free to join, and will provide a space for parents and families of color to share, support, and connect with each other. Every meeting will be facilitated by members from the community who have gone through their own journeys as an LGBTQ+ person or as a parent/family member of an LGBTQ+ person.
