[1]Cori Bush

John,

It's no secret that Cori isn't a typical member of Congress. More than
half of Congress are millionaires and an overwhelming majority is white.

Cori has been unhoused and relied on food stamps. She doesn't have huge
generational wealth. She's worked low-wage jobs. But it is precisely
because of Cori's lived experience that she is the first Black woman to
represent Missouri in Congress.

It is because of Cori's identity as a nurse that she believes health care
is a right and is a proud co-sponsor of Medicare for All.

It is because of Cori's identity as a mom that she believes every child
should have access to a good school and climate change should not limit
their future.

It is because of Cori's identity as an activist that she works to save
lives and for a future free of white supremacy and police violence.

Cori brings the power of each of these roles every time she shows up to
the Capitol to work for St. Louis and communities like it.

Cori is ready to keep working for policies that lift ALL of us up, but she
can't do this alone. Cori needs your support as we organize and legislate
in Congress for an agenda that puts people first.
[ [link removed] ]John,
will you contribute $5, or
whatever is meaningful to you, to help keep the first activist from the
movement in defense of Black lives in Congress?

[ [link removed] ]Chip in $5

Cori wasn't elected to Congress to sit on the sidelines. She was elected
to Congress to speak up for working families and cause good trouble.

The activist in Cori remembers what it was like to be in positions where
she felt overlooked, neglected, and unheard. That's why she is committed
to organizing and legislating every day to make our country a better, more
just place.

The challenges we face are immense. But when we work together, we have the
power to move mountains.

[ [link removed] ]If you're with Cori in this movement, will you chip in
$5 or anything you can so we can continue growing our
progressive movement and pass the change our communities need?

In solidarity,

Team Cori
