The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to adapt a lot of aspects of our daily lives - from how we work to how we safely interact with our communities. One such adaptation was our health care providers embracing and expanding use of telemedicine, which allows Iowans to get medical care and check-ups without traveling to a doctor's office.
 
I know telehealth has made a huge difference in the lives of Iowans this past year - and is an option that many would love to count on even after this pandemic is behind us. That's why I've sponsored legislation that would document the successes of telehealth and help make it a permanent option for Iowans.
