Friend,

It’s disappointing, but it’s hardly shocking:

The Washington Post just reported that the U.S. Postal Service signed a $120 million, five-year contract with XPO Logistics, the former company of Donald Trump’s hand-picked Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy.

DeJoy claims he wasn’t involved with the procurement process for the contract, but it’s hard to overlook the facts:

XPO Logistics rents four North Carolina office buildings from DeJoy and pays him $2.1 million annually — a financial windfall that could equal $23.7 million over the next decade.

DeJoy’s repeated, egregious financial conflicts of interest prove that he’s out for himself, not strengthening the Postal Service — a public good that serves millions of Americans every single day.

Louis DeJoy must be removed from office to protect the Postal Service. Add your name to my petition demanding DeJoy’s immediate removal from office.

It’s critical that we hold DeJoy accountable for his actions.

In November, we watched him weaponize the Postal Service to enable Donald Trump’s shameless attempts to win the election.

Not to mention, he’s currently under investigation by the FBI for campaign finance violations that include pressuring employees to donate to GOP candidates in exchange for large salary bonuses.

And now, he’s using the Postal Service to strengthen his family’s ties with XPO Logistics for his own personal financial gain.

DeJoy’s corruption and incompetence has continued for far too long. If you’re with me, sign my petition calling for DeJoy’s immediate removal as Postmaster General.

Millions of Americans are counting on us to protect the Postal Service. DeJoy has demonstrated his corrupt loyalties time and time again. We must act.
