Running a campaign can oftentimes be unpredictable work. You never know when things may arise, or what issues require quick mobilization and attention.
Unlike typical political campaigns who are funded by corporate PACs and lobbyists, progressive movements like ours rely on the power of the grassroots to fuel our work. Every donation, of any amount, is critical to our success.
But like many other campaigns, John, our fundraising tends to be stronger during election years. It's no secret that our fundraising in 2021 isn't as strong as it once was in 2020. But no matter how strong our fundraising is at any given moment, our work never stops. Not even in an "off year" like 2021, because politics don't just impact our lives during election year.
