“My Pillow Guy” and chief misinformation spreader Mike Lindell has riled up his supporters to spread lies about the 2020 election since the results were called. Without any evidence, he and his fellow Donald Trump loyalists have gone to great lengths to spread misinformation and push lies about the presidential election. Just last week, he hosted a symposium where he spread lies about Jena and Colorado’s elections. He was joined by a parade of elected officials and conspiracy theorists who made unfounded claims about our election systems in Colorado.

But we know facts and evidence aren’t what they’re after. The only thing they’re after is spreading lies, raising fear, and undermining the confidence in the 2020 election because their preferred candidate didn’t win.

That’s not how our democracy works.

The 2020 election was safe and secure. Under Jena’s leadership, Colorado’s election security team was presented with the U.S. Attorney’s Award of Excellence. Colorado conducts bipartisan risk-limiting audits, which are the best election audits in the nation. With Jena serving as Secretary of State, Colorado continues to set the gold standard for how elections are run in this country.
