In Congress, I’ve made standing with Planned Parenthood and the patients who depend on its reproductive health clinics a priority.

I’ve proudly attended the ribbon-cutting event for a new Planned Parenthood center in Hudson -- a clinic that now can’t serve Title X patients because of Trump’s gag rule. I also held a roundtable discussion with doctors and patients to highlight how it is fundamentally wrong for women’s health care decisions to be made by extreme politicians.

I have fought the gag rule every step of the way.

With Kavanaugh on the Court, I went to work with other House Democrats to cosponser the Women's Health Protection Act and guarantee equal access to abortion, everywhere.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Republicans running against me will try to use my defense of Planned Parenthood against me -- but I’ll always put women’s rights over politics.
