John --
Whether or not you are in favor of America's withdrawal from
Afghanistan, I think most people realize it didn't have to be the
chaotic, heartbreaking disaster we're watching unfold.
There are many tens of thousands of Afghans who have risked their
lives to help and protect Americans during the war -- and these brave
men and women (and their families), are now in grave danger. Some
have been able to leave the country, but most are still trapped behind
Taliban checkpoints and are at risk of being left behind to face a
terrible fate.
I will be doing everything I can to ensure the United States keeps
its promise to protect and extricate these brave Afghans, and pray we
will be successful. But re-location is really just the beginning --
these families will be starting over in a strange land, and need our
support.
That's why Country First has established a dedicated fund for the
benefit of these allies -- and 100% will go toward helping Afghans
rebuild their lives with the help of civic, faith-based, and veteran
organizations. Our initial partnerships are with veteran's
group With Honor and No One Left
Behind, which are both doing critical work in this area.

Will you chip in $9, or whatever you can today, to help an Afghan
ally's family? 100% of your donation will go toward this
effort.
I know this is not the kind of fundraising appeal you're used to
receiving from political leaders, but I hope you will see the value in
helping to keep our nation's promise to the vulnerable who have done
so much for our country and Armed Forces. 100% of our Afghan Ally
Relief Fund will go to this effort. Thank you for your consideration,
and please forward
to any friends and family who may be moved by this
cause.
Country First,
Adam
