To start with, Henry Cuellar voted for Trump's border wall — twice. In fact, before Jessica ran against him last election cycle, Cuellar voted with Donald Trump 70% of the time!
Just a few days ago, Cuellar was caught on video admitting that he had a better working relationship with the Trump administration than with the Biden administration.
And Cuellar was the only Democrat to vote against the PRO Act, a bill that would have protected workers' rights and strengthened labor unions.

Henry Cuellar also voted to weaken the Affordable Care Act, reducing the number of workers eligible for coverage and making long-term and comprehensive care more expensive.
And Cuellar voted to defund reproductive healthcare. In fact, he consistently opposes efforts to advance reproductive freedom, and he works to push reproductive healthcare out of reach for the South Texas families who need it most.
Henry Cuellar is supposed to be a Democrat, so why is he taking all of these terrible positions??
Well, during his last campaign for Congress, Cuellar accepted $1.5 million in PAC money — from folks like Exxon and Chevron, Koch Industries, and GEO Group (which is the largest private prison company).
Cuellar's terrible positions don't just harm the people of South Texas — they also pose a real political risk.
His record of selling out his constituents for corporate donors puts us in danger of losing this seat. And, with the Democratic majority in the House being so narrow, losing this seat could flip the entire House of Representatives to the GOP.
