Dear John,
One of my favorite parts of our Voices of Courage Benefit is honoring two inspiring physicians who go above and beyond to make access to abortion care possible. They are passionate, hardworking, and dedicated to providing compassionate care in their communities.
Join us on September 22 to celebrate this year’s physician honorees: Dr. Deborah Bartz and Dr. Ghazaleh Moayedi.
Today, I want to introduce you to Dr. Deborah Bartz, recipient of the 2021 Dr. William K. Rashbaum Award.
Deborah Bartz, MD MPH (she/hers) is the recipient of the 2021 Dr. William K. Rashbaum Award in recognition of her career-long commitment to providing abortion care and serving as a beloved mentor and teacher to medical students and residents.
Dr. Bartz is an ob/gyn at Brigham and Women's Hospital and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. She serves as the Associate Clerkship Director for the ob/gyn medical student rotation and as the Medical Director of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Title X Program, where she helps to educate other clinicians throughout the state.
