Friends,

Afghanistan has collapsed. In a matter of days, President Biden's failed leadership has forfeited nearly two decades of American progress borne by the service and sacrifice of American warfighters.

As what has been dubbed President Biden's "Saigon Moment" rages on, he remains in hiding at Camp David. Worse still, when he did face the public, President Biden's response was to blame everyone but himself.

He blamed the Afghan National Security Forces, despite having left them without support. He blamed the President of Afghanistan for fleeing, despite Joe Biden having abandoned him. And he blamed President Trump for this so-called plan, despite President Biden having taken credit for it before. In fact, it seems like the only group he didn't blame was the Taliban!

But it's still not clear what his plan even was. Despite having repeatedly demanded President Biden share his "plan" with Congress, he continues to refuse, just as he continues refusing to accept responsibility.

We deserve answers. We deserve to learn from President Biden's catastrophic mistakes so we never repeat them again. Sadly, it seems President Biden cares more about his personal optics than leading the nation through these dark times.
