When Democrats win, we make history.

We made history two years ago when we flipped the House of Delegates for the first time in a generation. We made history when we ratified the Equal Rights Amendment, passed commonsense gun reforms, expanded access to healthcare, passed the G3 community college program, legalized marijuana, abolished the death penalty, and passed the Virginia Voting Rights Act.

I know that I am not the first person to tell you this (and probably will not be the last) but this year’s election could undo all of that progress we have made. We made history, but the GOP could wipe it all away.

Electing my friends Terry McAuliffe, Hala Ayala, and Mark Herring is incredibly important to protecting our progress -- but it is also important to maintain our majority in the House of Delegates.

The good thing is we have an amazing slate of candidates running for the House this year. The bad thing is that we have a lot of toss-up races that we could lose, handing the Republicans back the majority.

I know how hard we all worked to take the majority in 2019. It is with that in mind that I’m asking for your help supporting Virginia Democrats again. Will you chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can to help the Democratic Party of Virginia’s efforts to win statewide and protect our majority in the House?
