96 [link removed] Good morning,

As you may have
heard, August is Rural Broadband Month. In today’s quick-moving and
increasingly connected world, broadband access is critical to the
success of western Minnesota.

One thing we were reminded of during
the COVID-19 pandemic is the importance of high quality, broadband
access. Whether it be at school, home, farms, medical facilities, or at
your place of business, there is a necessity to be connected to the
information superhighway.

I am dedicated to working to find federal
resources to help get every single Minnesotan in the Seventh District
fully connected, so our economy can continue to grow, attract more
well-paying jobs, and ensure our students have the broadband technology
they need to succeed.

There is still a long way to go to make sure
that every rural area has the critical broadband access necessary in
today’s world. By working together with public and private partnerships,
we can ensure that we all have the technology we need to keep up with
our interconnected world.

Sincerely,
Michelle Fischbach
