John,

I know that you, as a friend of The Trust for Public Land, will
surely be interested to support our innovative Community
Schoolyards(TM) projects that I've highlighted in my previous
emails and help us build and renovate parks across the nation.

Too many people in America ... 100 million ... including
28 million kids ...don't have a quality park close to home.
And The Trust for Public Land is seeking to change this by creating
and renovating schoolyards into great public parks in communities that
need them most.

With your support, we know our plan will work, because we've
already successfully transformed nearly 300 barren asphalt schoolyards
into great public parks ... more than 200 of these playgrounds were
across the five boroughs in New York City ... putting a quality
park within a 10-minute walk of more than four million New Yorkers.

We want to expand the success in New York City to more communities
across the nation, but to succeed, we urgently need your financial
assistance today.

Too many families across the nation lack access to quality parks
and open spaces that are essential to our health and quality of life.
Community Schoolyards projects are a critical part of our
mission to create land for people and a major part of our commitment
to close the park equity gap in communities across the country.

John, will you
do your part to help us expand the success of these efforts beyond New
York City by making a tax-deductible contribution now?

Due to the efficiency of our process, The Trust for Public Land is
able to create $3 for parks for every $1 that is contributed, so
please be as generous as you can.

But time is running out on our immediate goal of raising $50,000
by the end of the month to aid the next community in need. This is
just the first step toward our ultimate objective to improve park
access for 6 million people by creating green, vibrant schoolyards
that will serve kids and adults alike. But our success is directly
tied to the support we gain from committed individuals like you.

Please support this initiative, as well as The Trust for Public
Land's many other efforts to bring parks and greenspaces to
underserved communities across America, by giving a generous,
tax-deductible contribution today.
