Every single state will now use this new census data to update its congressional maps. But here’s the deal: Republican-dominated state legislatures control the majority of redistricting nationwide.

We saw how blatantly and aggressively Republicans have gone after voting rights this year — blocking The For The People Act and passing laws that go as far as criminalizing volunteers who hand out water to people waiting in line to vote.
