Nine House Democrats are insisting that the bipartisan infrastructure bill that easily passed the Senate this month be voted on as soon as possible. That has upset Speaker Pelosi’s plans to ram through and link a risky $3.5 trillion plan that not even key members of her own party have agreed to with the two-party Senate infrastructure bill that would expand broadband, provide clean water, and rebuild roads and bridges.

The members of the “Unbreakable Nine” are now facing intense pressure to give in.
