We need to be clear about the stakes here: If Democrats lose this race, we will be giving the seat to an extreme Republican more worried about Donald Trump’s commands than the people of North Carolina.
All three of our Republican opponents said they were opposed to the bipartisan infrastructure bill. They would have voted against bringing $8.7 billion to North Carolina to fund good-paying jobs, public transportation, electric vehicles, broadband internet, roads and bridges.
Yet again, our opponents are putting partisanship above the needs of our state.
