Technology, Empowerment, and Censorship
On Friday, November 15, 2019, the Center for Democracy & Technology, in partnership with the Freedom Forum Institute and the Charles Koch Institute, will host The Future of Speech Online: Technology, Empowerment, and Censorship. We hope you’ll join us for this daylong summit that will explore the technology of online speech, and will include discussions about censorship and circumvention, user empowerment, and automation in moderating content.
Tor Project Co-Founder Roger Dingledine will keynote the event, which also features speakers from Arena Stage, Clovyr, the Committee to Protect Journalists, Data for Black Lives, the Pessimists Archive, and more.
