To some folks in the suburban and urban areas of Virginia, it may surprise you to know that there are tons of voters who would vote for Democrats and Progressives if given the right platform. One of those people who are pushing for economic justice for rural Virginians is Jennifer Kitchen.

Now it's no secret that Democrats are having a hard time in rural VA and they need our help. But what you may not know is that there are a lot of progressive voters and candidates down there as well. Bernie Sanders even won several different areas out in Rural Virginia during the Presidential Primaries ([link removed]) in 2016 and 2020.

Our fellow Virginias out in the Valley are hurting too. Far travel times to Medical Centers, lack of connectivity due to lack of rural broadband, intrusive pipeline construction, and the loss of jobs have decimated our once thriving Shenandoah Valley. But if we have the right people in office, we can see affordable and accessible healthcare, rural broadband connectivity, mass transit, sustainable agriculture, economic justice, environmental justice, and jobs return to places like Staunton and Waynesboro.

Born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley, Jenni knows what it takes to represent this area and we know the votes are out there. We just have to make sure Jennifer and her "Kitchen Cabinet" can blast their messge out to as many people in the 25th as always.
