When I told you how Gov. Gavin Newsom and Rep. Katie Porter need our help against far-right attacks, I knew our grassroots movement would chip in before my deadline.

But unfortunately, it looks like we’re falling short.

Just hours after my Mid-Month Deadline, I found out we fell $938 short of what we needed to raise to defend our California Democratic incumbents.

If Democrats fail to shore up support now, Katie Porter and Gavin Newsom’s careers may be at stake.

But if we mobilize now, we can turn these numbers around. If 938 Democrats step up with just $1 by midnight, we’ll be in the best possible position to defend our Democrats.
