The Biden Administration denied Ohio's Medicaid work requirement waiver. This
is not what Ohioans want.

John, last week, Ohio's request for a federal waiver allowing us to attach a
part-time work requirement for able-bodied adults was denied by the Biden
Administration, a move that traps recipients in a never-ending cycle of
dependency and poverty.
The idea that able-bodied adults can receive free healthcare at the expense of
hard-working Americans and cannot be asked to work even an hour a week in
return undermines the American ethic. Americans want to help people in need,
but with the expectation that those same individuals will seek work or job
training so they can pursue a career and the dignity that comes with it.
As conservative Republicans, we believe that it's our moral responsibility to
offer a helping hand to those who are truly in need. But we also believe that
when it comes to government programs like Medicaid, those benefits should serve
as a bridge to the ultimate goal of self-sufficiency.
John - this is what's at stake when we look ahead to the next election.
Allowing Democrats to take control of Ohio's government would only worsen these
kinds of policy decisions and put even more Ohioans into a cycle of government
dependency.
I know this is not the kind of government you want. And that's why I'm
reaching out to ask you toconsider making a donation right now to help us raise
the funds <[link removed]> we'll need to keep
Ohio's Republicans in office, carrying on the fight for conservative values.
