Earlier this week, Joe Biden called Medicare for All "ridiculous." He compared us to Trump. He said we were "trying to con the American people."

The question facing our country right now is this:

Who will have the guts to stand up to the health insurance industry, which saw more than $100 BILLION in profits last year?

I am tired of seeing Democrats defend a dysfunctional health care system where 87 million people are uninsured or underinsured and 30,000 people die every year because they lack adequate coverage.

So I was disappointed this week to see that Joe Biden used the talking points of the health insurance industry to attack Medicare for All and our campaign.

The truth is, they don’t need the help. They have extraordinary influence and an unlimited sum of money to spend to beat us. And indeed, they have already started, spending millions of dollars to attack Medicare for All. And that is just the start – they will stop at nothing to make sure we do not win.

Please make a $2.70 contribution to our campaign today as a way of saying that you want to take on the health insurance industry, pass Medicare for All, and guarantee health care as a human right.

Let us be clear: under Medicare for All, all Americans will have comprehensive health care coverage as a guaranteed human right. And with no premiums, co-payments or out-of-pocket expenses, ordinary Americans will be spending far less for that care than they currently pay.

As I travel across the country, I hear over and over that people trust us more than anyone else to stand up to the insurance industry.

That is because we do not take a penny from executives of the health insurance or drug industries. We don’t have a single billionaire who has donated to our campaign.
