A new report from the United Nations has sounded the alarm that immediate action is needed to address the climate crisis.

This year, the U.S. has experienced record high temperatures across the country, causing brownouts, out-of-control wildfires, and other natural disasters.

Record-breaking temperatures used to be once-in-a-generation occurrences, but because of climate change, they’re becoming increasingly normal.
