Dear John,
Which teacher had the biggest impact on your life?
For me, it was Hillsdale College president Dr. Larry Arnn.
I’ll never forget his seminar on Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics. The first thing Dr. Arnn told us was: “You are what you do, and it matters very much what you do.”
Dr. Arnn has dedicated his life to defending the enduring principles that have shaped our Western tradition.
He’s inspired countless students throughout his life.
That’s why I’m so honored to have him as the keynote speaker at ISI’s 15th annual Gala for Western Civilization.
I hope you'll join us Thursday, September 16, at the historic Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., as Dr. Arnn and other ISI friends and supporters come together to celebrate the conservative heroes who are teaching and defending the value of Western culture.
And if you’re an ISI alum under 30, registration is only $50!
In addition to Dr. Arnn, you’ll hear from:
- Philanthropist Diana Davis Spencer, who will receive ISI’s Lifetime Achievement Award
- Emeritus professor and author Daniel J. Mahoney, who will receive ISI’s Faculty Award
