Tell Congress: Pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. SIGN ON!
This year alone, states have enacted at least 28 new laws restricting voting rights.

That’s why Democrats are introducing a new version of the John Lewis Voting Rights and Advancement Act.

This bill restores the ability of the Department of Justice to stop state-level voter suppression.

We’re working to make sure it passes, but we need to show wide-spread support. That’s where you come in.

Tell Congress that we need to secure and protect our right to vote -- pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act!

In 2013, the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act’s “pre-clearance” provisions, which allowed the Justice Department to stop voter suppression laws and race-based gerrymandering in many areas before they took effect.

This year, the Supreme Court made it even harder to challenge bad voting laws.

We need the John Lewis Voting Rights Act more urgently than ever to restore pre-clearance and protect democracy.

We’re doing our part on the ground, working to put an end to stop state-level voter suppression, and electing more Democrats who will fight for everyone’s sacred right to vote.

Join us in protecting our democracy. Tell Congress to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act!

Thanks for taking action to protect voting rights..
