FRC's Battle to Save our Schools

Dear John,

Have you heard? People across this country have had enough.

Outraged parents, grandparents, taxpayers, and teachers attending their local school board meetings are objecting to children being indoctrinated with gender identity ideology, pornographic sex ed, divisive critical race theory (CRT), and anti-American sentiment.

One parent expressed the importance of local engagement: "The last of my three children will be graduating public school soon. I could easily sit on the sidelines. But as a tax-paying citizen, I have an obligation to protect the children in my community from harmful education policies."

This parent understands disengagement is not an option. We ALL have a stake in the education of our nation's kids.

While this movement is encouraging, the battle to save our schools from the Left's indoctrination of our children will be hard-won.

That's why I am reaching out for your help in this fight against the extremism infiltrating our public education system. Will you consider giving your best gift today and join FRC in this battle to save our schools and protect the next generation?

This battle isn't only about worldview; it's also about the wellbeing and innocence of our children.

In Tacoma, Washington, middle school students were given Planned Parenthood pamphlets stating children as young as 11-years old could "have sex with somebody two years older or less." Students were told how to obtain an abortion "at any age" and without "permission from a parent or guardian."

Chicago Public Schools are pushing their Comprehensive Sexuality Education, which includes a new directive to provide free condoms in all schools, including elementary schools! It's been billed as an expansion of their "sexual health education," but that name obscures an agenda of exploitation.

FRC's Mary Szoch responded, "Family Research Council opposes exposing children (or anyone) to explicit material, encouraging children in any way to have sex or commit sexual acts, and creating a hypersexualized culture that will certainly have damaging long-term consequences for children...No part of fifth-grade curriculum should involve access to condoms and the promotion of sexual activity, which obviously is exploitation of minors."

Jesus warned in Matthew 18:6 (NIV), "If anyone causes one of these little ones -- those who believe in me -- to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea."

We cannot sit on the sidelines as the culture causes our children to stumble!

We must honor God and fight this extremism in our nation's schools. Will you pray about what you can give to raise FRC's voice to protect the next generation?

General George S. Patton said, "Moral courage is the most valuable and usually the most absent characteristic in men."

As believers in Christ, courage looks like going to battle against the evil forces seeking to exploit our children.

God's never needed a majority. A small group of disciples built His church through the power of the Holy Spirit. Today, all that is necessary to take a stand against the world's depravity and confusion and to take back the culture is a group of committed and courageous Christians who fully rely on God.

The First Amendment still stands, and the Constitution protects every student, teacher, administrator, and parent. Raise your voice to protect the innocence of children.

Will you commit with FRC to take back what has been lost and restore America's schools?

As the 2021-2022 school year begins, let's pray for our nation's classrooms and the protection of kids across the country.

Thank you in advance for standing with us for faith, family, and freedom.
