As summer 2021 comes to an end (sad!) it’s back-to-school season for the kiddos of DC! Alongside various community efforts, Sunrise is organizing to support kids and teachers in the communities we call home as they return to school, again during a pandemic that has been challenging in many ways. We’re hosting a mutual aid fundraiser as a way to show love and material solidarity.

This mutual aid fundraiser will be exclusively for school supplies

that will be distributed to DC students to help them feel prepared and equipped to start the year! Our goal is to raise as much as we can in time for the first day of school at the end of this month. And we’ve got ~options~ for how you can help!
