Friends,

As an Afghanistan veteran, I am heartbroken and angry to see what is happening there right now. 

Our military troops sacrificed so much to stop this exact thing from happening. We gave up time with our families, our mental and physical health, some even gave their lives to keep peace in Afghanistan. In just a few days, Joe Biden has reversed two decades of work. 

This situation was 100% predictable and avoidable. If President Biden had withdrawn slowly and with the help of experts, we would not be here. The people of Kabul might still be safe. 

This is a punch in the gut for me and every other veteran who served in Afghanistan. It feels like the President took years of achievements and erased them. 

Joe Biden has essentially abdicated his responsibilities as Commander in Chief by making this rash and uninformed decision and then going on vacation.

This is not a partisan issue, friend: This is a Joe Biden issue. 

Both Republican and Democratic Presidents have successfully kept the peace in the Middle East during their tenures. Joe Biden is the outlier and we can see it across all areas of his presidency: rapidly rising inflation, worsening crisis at the Border, and huge waves of crime across the country. 

Within 7 months, Joe Biden has made our country a dangerous place. With his choice to withdraw haphazardly from Afghanistan, he is making the world a more dangerous place.
