Right now, Montana ranks 50th out of 51 in affordable broadband services. This past legislative session, both parties tried to do something about that. Democrats attempted to bridge the physical and digital infrastructure divide through bills that helped everyday working people. Republicans, meanwhile, tried to turn this issue into a massive corporate handout.

Their bills ranged from favoring out-of-state mega-corporations over local businesses to a truly horrific bill that would subsidize giant companies through tax breaks to run our local business and essentially run them all out of business.

That’s why we’re calling on Gov. Gianforte and the Montana legislature to pass a digital infrastructure bill for our state that will benefit ALL Montanans and won’t crush our small businesses. Add your name if you’re with us!
